I was extremely happy to assist today Dr Jean-Baptiste ROCHE in a live surgery retransmitted from Thessaloniki to the annual congress of the Egyptian Urological Association. A Robotic assisted radical prostatectomy with lateral access was performed with great success.
We are grateful to be the 1st in Greece to test prior to production and use the new #storz single use flexible ureteroscope.
Easy to handle and nice views.
Και διερωτήθηκαν γιατί ένα μήνα τώρα η λέξη «Τέμπη» είναι απαγορευμένη σε όλα τα ΜΜΕ; Γιατί δεν προβάλλουν τις κινητοποιήσεις τους; Γιατί κανείς δεν λέει ότι αύριο στις 12:00 θα βρίσκονται στις Σέρρες, κάτω από τα γραφεία του υπουργού των Τεμπών για να εκφράσουν τη δυσαρέσκειά τους για την απόφασή του να είναι ξανά υποψήφιος;
Today I reviewed this patient 5 years after aquablation. Still happy, refers slower flow, seems to empty well, antegrade ejaculation sometimes, although nearly retired from sexual activity at 71…
Please advice:
- 2011: RALP: pT3b pNx, ISUP 4
- 2014: salv RT: prostate bed 70 Gy+ pelvis
- Now: PSA 1.4, doubling time 1 year, 18F-PSMA-1007 PET shows local rec. 65 yo, no comorbid.
(Biopsy and MRI planned)
How do I treat?
@FCAFigueiredo If I have healthy tissu in endorectal ultrasound I would try complementary Holep if Holep wasn't performed before by @fgomsan 😉
Otherwise Bladder Neck Incision with injection of corticoides. Optilume is not adapted yet for the size of the bladder neck.
Anastomotic Holmium stricturotomy after radical prostatectomy... I told the patient to do self-dilatation after the incision... also advised him that we might need 2 do a robotic vs perineal revision, take out the fibrosis and try to perform a new anastomosis...what do you think?
