Joe Burrow sent threats to that front office that he wasn’t happy. Since then, they went and got Dexter Lawrence, Jonathan Allen, Boye Mafe, etc. This is how you go all in for your franchise quarterback.

Bengals still need : Slot Cb, Swing tackle, MLB , Blocking TE, reliable WR3 , Depth DT, & vet edge. Not crazy. Can still get 1-3 of these after the draft BUT some of these spots will have to be answered in the draft early in order to have true impact, which I hate.
