Of all the Champions Dinner photographs this is my favourite one for a whole host of reasons -
1967, with a star-studded lineup including the defending champion and first back-to-back winner, 26 year old Jack Nicklaus, at the head of the table.
We’re returning to New London, Minnesota in spring for final touches on new 18-hole design: Tepetonka. We’ll shape the last short course green, cut bunker edges & fine-tune grassing lines on main course. With nice spring weather, expect preview rounds this summer📸 @capturefilmco

@bydylanjohnson@AdamZagoria Willard is a strong cup of coffee. Obviously rubbed some of these big ego prima donnas the wrong way.
Nova 15-5 vs Hall 10-10 and bye in Big East tourney first year after Neptune disaster?
All the other coaches saw his adjustments?
Sorry it’s Willard.
Seton Hall coach Shaheen Holloway told @AdamZagoria that he voted for Kevin Willard for Big East Coach of the Year.
All the 10 other Big East coaches voted for Holloway.
@darrenmarble@Fxhomma Yup. Agree completely when available. But if the in is with an associate that is def not going to be a barrier in any way (just at most an extra call).
@tmrohan It's certainly no guarantee. You have to give a fund a reason to. But a fund will step up to the plate 100/100 times before an angel will do anything when times get tough.
Angels are still HUGELY valuable. A mix is required IMO.
@darrenmarble@Fxhomma 100%. But neither do a lot of 'partners' (title inflation is laughable for exactly the point of your thread).
Big misconception = pitching an associate and getting a pass is because it was an associate. You're getting the same pass if you pitch partners 100 times out of 100.
