@effortfuleduktr Yes, I previously read about misinformation/allocation of stats. Versions of the cone seem to contain a mix of how to obtain knowledge, retrieve and even more. Mutations have tried to oversimplify.

@a_mcwalter the material has happened. The pyramid makes it seem you should begin with the 'teach others', when you can't teach others what you don't know. And...of course...the statistics are completely fabricated.

How do students feel after retrieval practice? Less anxious.

Some students still do this. I will definitely allocate time at the start of next year to discuss retrieval practice, which has also been said to help improve motivation.

Some really interesting points by @Inner_Drive tonight on #retrievalpractice A key misconception made by students on how to recall i.e they repeatedly re-read.

Tried a different strategy to help prepare 5th yrs for summer exams. Gave them 8 qts in the 7 topics. Wk 1 -they did all qt 1's, wk 2 - they did qt 2's, wk 3 - qt 3's, etc. Qts completed at home and corrected weekly #chem #interleaving
