As a lover of Indian politics happy to report that I got to indulge in a bit of future gazing with @SnellArthur.: @RahulGandhi is no longer “pappu”; India has a sizeable opposition BUT it doesn’t mean death of Hindutva. Most imp Modi can no longer bulldoze through parliament 1/2

Modi is now the PM but his failure to achieve the 400 mark means an internal struggle will finally emerge (re-emerge). Contenders like Gadkari and Yogi will be a threat. RSS chief’s recent not-so-veiled criticism of Modi is just the beginning of internal churning. 2/2

Indore's NOTA has got to be my favourite part of this election, closely followed by Smriti Irani having to leave the Lok Sabha building after the results <3

If you’re justifying the nature of violence being carried out then you’re a part of the problem. You can condemn both sides instead of glorifying reactions.

Anyone else also gets these short bursts of calls from various foreign phone numbers on @WhatsApp? Ring once then stop. What’s the deal?

@sinansiyechmd Let’s not forget how you can pose as a vlogger and get street-side vendors to sell you snacks at cheaper rates!

Instead of supporting two separate causes, let’s pull one group down for the sake of another. This angst could have been thought out properly and then tweeted.

In addition to the debate surrounding freedom of movement and securing public buildings is the debate around right to protest. Just a few days back, protestors in London circled the Russian embassy and threw paint on the road to highlight the plight of the Ukrainian. 3/3

There are at least three bus stops one after the other. It is bang opposite London’s theatre area, including the Aldwych theatre (check out the Tina Turner show), and a few minutes away from Covent Garden. You can’t shoo away crowds. 2/3

Every time I’m walking past Aldwych, I ensure that I stop in front of India House. For those who’re demanding greater security for the Indian High Commission in London need to understand how public buildings in London have limited security AND that the HC is on the main road. 1/3
