@katystoll Subarus as a whole are pretty reliable, though some models have problems with their head gaskets. Toyotas and Hondas are your safest bet when it comes to reliability though.

So many people up here are adamant that Subarus are not well made and will cost me a ton in repairs. I'm very into the Wranglers, but perhaps not so good for long trips? What else should I consider 4Runner? RAV4? Are hybrids good for mountains and long distance driving?
