Living alone is such a beautiful experience I hope most people get to experience especially in their 20s. The beauty of not having to negotiate your space with anyone else, finding stuff exactly how you left them, discovering your style, girl dinner etc. Absolutely peak 🤌🏼

Assuming everyone had money to pay and blood was actually sold, who would be responsible for regulating prices and access, to the point of ensuring the poor person is not out-priced out of a basic life saving resource that should be ethically sourced and distributed?

@ewoenam_honu Also, did you or did you not see specifically where I mentioned components of the fee that are not subsidised by government? And did I or did I not state that whatever current subsidy exist. covers administrative fees and not the specific components I mentioned?

The government has decided not to cover or subsidise the cost of grouping, cross-matching and testing donated blood has to undergo, so unfortunately that has to become the recepient or their replacement donor’s (who has probably never donated voluntarily btw) cost.

@YawTobbs @enyonvm Some of you healthcare workers have turned into full blown businessmen and women. Wtf is precessing fee when blood needs to be donated ? A relative takes time off, transports him or herself and you dare ask them to pay processing fee.. for what ?????
