Just listened to this episode. While I am not a prison wife, (I’m a prison mom) I love the Prison Wife Podcast. Was thrilled to hear Alex and Sarah talk about their amazing work in prison education. I've provided their Level program to my LO and love their materials and support.

If I sent a child to school for 12 yrs and he never opened a book, I wouldn't expect him to read. We're sent to prison for yrs and yrs , no rehabilitation or real training or help, and when released expected to stay out and be successful. NOT LOGICAL

Instead of stealing Greenland from Denmark, let’s steal some of their policies. In Denmark: - Health care and college are free.   - The starting wage is $22/hr. - Paid parental leave is 1 year. - Paid vacation is 6 weeks.   - All workers get pensions.
