Have you had the experience where you've sat in an IEP meeting and someone says, "That student doesn't need AT; they are making passing grades." I shared 3 of my favorite questions to ask to shift that thinking with @_CIDDL! bit.ly/3ATQs #CommunAT #AssistiveTech

#Aphasia can be caused by a #stroke, head injury, a #braintumor or a disease. It is a condition that robs you of the ability to communicate. It can affect your ability to speak, write and understand language, both verbal and written. #DisabilityTwitter #TBI

I test many #EdTech tools. I get very excited when they fare high for #Accessibility for the student side, however, that excitement dampens when the instructor side has many accessibility flaws. Why is it okay to accept we have #Disabled students but not disabled educators?#A11y

Volksswitch also offers directions on how to create customized 3D printed keyguards for AAC apps on the iPad. I'm looking for some students within the @LincolnIU12 to learn how to design and print customized keyguards. @LIU12_TaC @LIU12_PD @LIU12_STEM #liuassistivetech #atmakers

Yes, part-time AAC use is someone using AAC. But can people also recognize there are differences between someone using AAC rarely enough that most people in their life has never seen them use AAC; someone who uses AAC most of the time; and someone who uses AAC all of the time?
