Well done Simeoni @simeonboxco, Super proud of the passion and commitment shown by you and other young people in Osun who have come together under the banner of “Unofficial Aides” to project the achievements of this administration and stand firmly for truth and good governance. The successful convergence meeting held today is a clear testament to your shared vision, unity, and dedication to the progress of Osun State. Your voluntary efforts, driven by conviction rather than personal gain are truly inspiring. I encourage you to remain focused, responsible, and always guided by facts and civility in all your engagements. Together, we will continue to advance the cause of good governance and sustain the progress we are making for the people of Osun State. I look forward to meeting with you all very soon.
Emperor Simeoni (Eminent Nigerian)@simeonboxco

E still dey shock these people that people can voluntarily mobilize an organic movement for a political figure the way my people are doing it. You can't understand because to you, it's all about profit, but to some of us, the good work must continue.

Today in Ilesa, I celebrate the Ijesha people for their remarkable contributions and commend the unveiling of the Ijesha Hall of Fame as a landmark initiative. I also appreciate the visionary leadership of Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adesuyi Haastrup. Our administration remains committed to advancing Ijesaland through sustained infrastructural development and the continued growth of the University of Ilesa. I urge all sons and daughters of Ijesaland to support our development efforts and reject political violence in all forms. Together, we must uphold peace, unity and progress for the continued growth of Osun State.

Great work, @rhaptorasiwaju This is exactly the energy we need! The progress we have made across Osun State in every local government, every sector, every community speaks for itself. But the work is far from over. If you believe in the transformation you have witnessed, now is the time to act. Register. Mobilize and Vote for continuity. Osun deserves leadership that delivers, and together we will ensure that this momentum never stops. #Imole2.0 belongs to all of us — let us secure it!

Today, I had the honour of attending the inauguration of the ₦150 million MicCom Memorial Endowment for Engineering Development at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, in memory of Late Engr. Michael Ayantunde Ponnle and Engr. (Mrs) Comfort Olufunke Ponnle. Their lives exemplified vision, innovation, and a shared commitment to national development. Through enterprise, mentorship, and dedication to excellence, they proved that Nigerian engineers can build, compete, and lead at the highest level. This endowment is a strategic investment in the future. It will support academic excellence, strengthen research and innovation, bridge the gap between theory and practice, and nurture responsible, value-driven engineers. I commend the Ponle family for this remarkable initiative, which ensures that the legacy of these great patriots continues to inspire generations. As a government, we remain committed to supporting education, innovation, and partnerships that drive sustainable development in Osun State.

Today, I visited victims of the recent rainstorm in Osogbo at Asubiaro Hospital, the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, and the police barracks in Oke Fia. My heart goes out to all those affected by this unfortunate disaster. I commiserate deeply with the family of the late Mrs. Jemilat Tijani. In support of her family, I have offered a university scholarship to her son, Farouk Tijani, through Osun State University. This incident is a painful reminder that climate change is real and continues to pose serious threats to our communities. As a government, we remain committed to proactive measures, public sensitization, and strengthened emergency response systems. We have begun a full assessment of the damage and are working with relevant federal agencies to ensure relief and support reach all victims. In this difficult time, we stand with every affected resident. Osun will overcome this together.

Today in Ikire, I presented staff of office to the new Akire of Ikireland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olayiwola Tajudeen Akinola, Akintula 1. I affirmed that the installation of the new Akire of Ikire was carried out strictly in line with due process, the rule of law, and the valid court-backed settlement reached by the previous administration to resolve the longstanding chieftaincy dispute. By upholding the 2025 Appeal Court judgement, I ensured continuity and lasting peace in Ikire through the confirmation of the rightful ruling house and the presentation of the staff of office. I urge the new monarch, Oba Olanrewaju Tajudeen Akinola, to see himself as a father to all and to unite the people toward peace, progress, and development. As an adopted son of Ikire, I remain committed to the development of Ikire and urge the people to continue supporting my government to sustain good governance beyond 2026.
