@banglani again bumrah is such an obvious pott. in fact sanju deserved the potm this time. if they are doing the dumb hedging for whatever reason. it could be argued that bumrah has had a bigger impact than kohli last 10y. not even a conversation in most places. so batsman biased!

@aagarrw I guess this is how Australia felt in the 2000s. "One more world cup trophy? Yeah put it in the corner somewhere"

2011: Dhoni finishes off in style 2021: Toota hai Gabba ka ghamand 2026: And that's the ninth wicket gone. Uh...in fact it looks like it's the tenth. So that's it then. Shastri bro, you had one job. #Cricket

@aagarrw But also Pandya took 2/38 in his four overs, which in the context was an amazing performance

@banglani exactly. i fail to understand the logic of declaring in the first innings most of the time. the benefit of 30min of bowling at tired batsman doesn’t seem to be sufficiently compensate. also, one can quasi declare by over attacking. should avoid that too.

@aagarrw There's no case for declaration. From this point, first innings runs will be _much_ easier to get than second innings ones. Every run they get now is one less they need to make the second time around.

since the south africa series away, the indian test team seems to have a pattern. we have collapses after playing well and basically 1-2/5 bowlers bowls well with dropped catches. we have turned into a poor test side. #engvsindia #TestCricket

@DineshKarthik he is the tendulkar of this generation. but the question is why do we such lack of depth in our fast bowling despite being the richest system by some distance.

My issue with Indian cricket grounds. We have the money, more than anywhere in the world We even understand hospitality, in our homes, & in our hotels which offer amazing service. Why can't we offer the best on-ground experience? Watching live cricket in India is a punishment.

Do read this from @deeputalks to realise the enormity of a player who has just retired. The two home series India lost since his debut were the only ones in which he struggled. I still maintain that India hasn't allowed itself to understand how big @ashwinravi99 was. cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/1…
