INNALILLAHI WA’INNA ILLAIHI RAJIUN With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my beloved friend, my brother, and someone I respected with all my heart, Alhaji Saleh Shehu Ashaka. He was a man who always did good in everything he set his mind to. A man who constantly encouraged others to do what is right. Anyone who truly knows me understands what Saleh @AshakaSaleh meant to me. I valued him deeply, and I loved him sincerely. Saleh treated me like a close friend, always sharing things with me and guiding me. But to me, he was much more than that. I took him like my boss, my mentor, and someone I aspired to become like as I grow. He believed in me and started building me toward success. He wanted to transform me, rebrand me, and push me to grow beyond the person I was, especially steering me away from being noisemaker on the internet. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. After deep reflection and wide consultations with family, friends, and trusted political associates, I have taken a decisive step, to offer myself for service as a candidate for the House of Representatives, Kaduna South Federal Constituency, under the platform of the ADC. Today marks the beginning of that journey. Together with my team, we commenced our grassroots consultations from my ward, Ward 8, before proceeding to Wards 6, 7, and 9, engaging directly with stakeholders, party executives, and community voices who remain the true custodians of our democracy. These engagements were not symbolic, they were sincere, honest, and necessary. We listened. We shared. And we aligned on a clear truth: Kaduna South deserves better. For too long, representation has fallen short of the expectations of our people. The gap between leadership and the everyday realities of our communities has widened and that must change. Our mission is clear but powerful: to restore purposeful representation, amplify the voices of our people, and deliver leadership driven by vision, accountability, and real impact. This movement is not about one individual, it is about all of us. It is about reclaiming our future, together. The journey continues. Engr Khalid Aminu
