@IrieHeights34@zimwhodey@AdamSchefter Giants are going after him in after the draft after losing Lawrence. There will be a fight for him if the Ravens were planning to do the same.
A boost for Baltimore during draft week: Ravens DT Nnamdi Madubuike, who suffered a season-ending and career-threatening neck injury in Week 2 last season, underwent neck surgery last week that left his doctors believing he willl be able to resume playing this season, per sources.
@NewStripeCity Another huge problem is that Cincinnati isn’t good at DT & this draft class is insanely weak at that position. Instead of selling hope that Jonathan Allen would turn back into a guy they went and fixed the problem.
Last week I thought 10 was too much bc I thought a legit player would be there. The closer we get to the draft it really was looking like Bain, Styles, Downs and Love were all gonna be gone by 10. In a world where they are all gone, I’m taking Dexter Lawrence.
@Battletroz@PSchrags@autyelmore If you think Styles is the next Ray Lewis - absolutely you take him then. I’m trying to be a bit more realistic than that. 🤷♂️
Text from a respected NFL GM in response to a heated discussion we had on "The Schrager Hour" over whether a team can really take a safety (Downs) in the top 5 in 2026:
"Throw positional value out this year."
Food for thought.
@Rickvf0c@Sturwold87@PSchrags@autyelmore I don’t like the positional value of him that high. It’s the athleticism that is causing the hype. He’ll be a good player, but it’s hard to find a game changing LB.
@aajakes@Sturwold87@PSchrags@autyelmore Have you watched Sonny Styles on a regular basis? He is not a top ten pick. People hyping him up because of a workout. I am an Ohio State fan and team that’s picking him is wasting the pick for this year.
@Sturwold87@PSchrags@autyelmore No one knows how good any of these players are going to be in the draft. But if you are drafting a LB that high you are expecting him to be that good. I’m also probably not as high on Roquan as you are - he’s good.
@aajakes@PSchrags@autyelmore What’s the odds he’s way better? Roquan is really really good. Is styled projected to be Ray Lewis ? If not, impossible for him to be way better
@thebengalorian Yikes! That’s a very likely world. I’ve always thought the Giants were in on Downs this entire time despite our fan base’s love for him. 😅
@JoeGoodberry@RespectTheHorn Is this at all like Malaki Starks vs Nick Emmanwori last year? One is being looked at as the clear frontrunner in the draft at the position and but the data says something clearly different.
@JoeGoodberry watching your ‘sheets’ video. How many 90s or even 100 have you ever scored? Sonny Stiles as an 83 makes me feel like a 90 is unobtainable.

We're still waiting for numbers on Trey Hendrickson and Odafe Oweh.
@thebengalorian Is it just me or but does Trey Hendrickson with slicked back hair just makes him look like a villain? It’s giving me power-hungry Anakin Skywalker vibes.
The #Falcons are planning to release WR Darnell Mooney, sources say, with Mooney set to count $18.4M against the salary cap.
Mooney, still just 28, has averaged better than 13 yards per catch in each of the last three seasons.
@drinkgaragebeer This was definitely created to celebrate America 250, but I love that you seized the prime opportunity on the can reveal! Excellent marketing! 👍

I first met @robcesternino in Panama for #Survivor: All-Stars back in 2003 and we geeked out HARDCORE on game theory (which was a rarity with contestants back then). So excited for his well-deserved return to reality competition tonight on #TheTraitorsUS
@JamesRapien This is the problem. They made it impossible to evaluate his job performance, because none of us understand what his role is. We think it’s to manage the scouting team and drafting strategy, but it’s not clear he’s in control there. The FO should be fired!
I think a lot of people are voting no with the idea that they’d hire a GM with a general manager title. Zero chance that happens in the Joe Burrow era.
