@bajadobe They are indeed lime washed, they are old tiles that got dipped in a lime and cement mix to help the prevent any leaks due to age, but just lime and baba de nopal should do the trick

Esta es una de las esculturas más grandes jamás recuperadas en Teotihuacan. Se ubicó en la Plaza de la Luna, donde se registró en dibujos y fotos a finales del siglo XIX. Se le trasladó al Museo Nacional, en el centro de la CDMX, hasta ubicarla en el #MNA en la actualidad.
