@denicmarko One of my favorite tricks for headings. Now waiting for text-wrap: perfect; for the cases I'm still picky.

CSS tip: Use `text-wrap: pretty;` to make text line breaks look natural and avoid awkward single words on the last line.

@iamkrisrisner The farthest I can take reliably it is for making cool in-content blocks, and that's when clients don't ask for "the way WP used to be".

This popped up in a group but… I gave Gutenberg like 3-5 years. Not a casual test either. I built a full system around it — reusable blocks, patterns, custom templates, all of it. And honestly? I was still spending more time fixing weird Gutenberg issues than actually building sites. At some point I just had to be real with myself and realize Gutenberg wasnt cut out for real workflows.

The biggest problem with WordPress is not EmDash or plugins. It is this:

The #WordPress world may not like it, but this is what peak client editing performance looks like.

@headinthebox Looking back I hate how much time I lost going through this, but moving forward I now see how to make up for that time.

So many devs are stuck in the denial stage of grief wrt to the murder of human coding by AI.

I have no idea about the future of devs, frameworks, and coding tools. But I know one thing for sure: If you put in the hard work, adapt to change, and embrace the human side of you, there will always be a place for you. You may not do the exact same thing, but your skills will be invaluable.

@wpgaurav I work on MD6.0 daily, building on the first client site now. It is way past time to end my silence. I think there's a bright future if you like what's there. I'll send out an alpha copy this weekend, promise. :)

Hey @aamangini , is there still some hope or should I move to another theme?

@htmx_org Almost used this as a solution the other night but intuitively knew by the weird name this was not the way.

@wpgaurav I will run a test of MD5.x and WP 6.5 and see what's up. That is alarming news to me! Had my ups and downs and got far down the rabbit hole of MD6.0 dev, and very eager to get it out and return to business with all the new things going on in WP.

@aamangini I'm cool with waiting, if there was a fixed date. How're you doing, Alex?

Time to move away from Marketers Delight theme. Several compatibility issues with 6.5. Some pages facing critical errors. FSE is the way.
