Adonis was shot 5 times, stabbed 3 times, and wrapped up in San Francisco gang life. From state prison to a life in recovery full of hope. @TheWayOutSF is transforming San Francisco one life at a time. #RealRecovery

It's simple. If you want to keep federal troops out of San Francisco, remove the organized drug dealers and 80% of the problem goes away. If you don't, you reap what you sow.
T Wolf 🌁@Twolfrecovery

Look, nobody really wants troops on our streets. But this evolution of Benioff is a direct result of San Francisco continuing to allow (yes, allow) an organized drug dealing network of 500-1k dealers operate unabated in broad daylight for the past decade. That's the truth.

SF is turning the Marina Inn into 68 beds of drug-free transitional housing with strict rules, helping people in recovery stay sober and rebuild their lives. It deserves support, says 3-term supervisor Bill Maher thevoicesf.org/drug-free-tran…

Today, I signed the Recovery First Ordinance. This legislation makes long-term recovery the main goal of San Francisco’s approach to substance use treatment—defining recovery as living a healthy, self-directed life, free from illegal drug use. Thank you Supervisor @mattdorsey, our partners in public health and public safety, and to the recovery community that is fighting to build a safer, healthier, and more hopeful city for everyone.

The national organization opposing my “Recovery First” ordinance praises drug dealers as “harm reductionists” and demands that they be included at “every step of the policymaking process.” So, I’m today urging my colleagues to reject the Drug Policy Alliance’s advocacy. (1/2)

JMC Participant Outreach Saved a Life Today. JMC participants went to 16th & Mission to talk to those suffering in addiction. 15 minutes after they arrived a voice says “l am tired” minutes after that she was in RWS and on the road to recovery! @TheWayOutSF @salvationarmysf

@Twolfrecovery Wait a minute! Walton wants Housing First and Harm Reduction everywhere but his district? The Bayview is in desperate need of @CeddieHussle! It’s time for our City to come together to get people off the streets and inside to a safe and healthy environment.

Other NGO's take your money and do nothing. The Salvation Army's homeless initiative takes your money, teaches people in recovery new job skills and then feeds the community. That's the difference. @TheWayOutSF @garrytan @Benioff

This past Friday, our culinary program was back in the Tenderloin in San Francisco serving freshly prepared meals to over 500 people. Everyone of our participants learns valuable job skills while reinforcing their recovery. This is The Way Out. @DanielLurie
