The condo we're staying in temporarily have on of those TCL Roku TVs, and I'm glad I got to see how terrible they are IRL before having bought one for whatever reason. The idea is good, but the interface is actually unusable...clicks take 30-40 seconds to register.

That's so cool. I'm waiting for the right one. Top of my list is '68 Chevelle, '67 GTO, '67 Chevelle, but those are harder to come by without a hefty 5-figure price. The goal is daily driver. Also looking at early 50's Chieftains. There are personal and business reasons (ofc) at play here.

Wife alerted me to a '64 Nova that was for sale for $5k. Needs some work, but don't have a reasonable space to work on it, atm. So tempting though. My initial response was: "Those are the good years." (I've always thought the late 60's versions looked like a store-brand Chevelle.)

As someone with a entrepreneurial bend, I had to reshape how I worked. I’ve never had a problem working, I enjoy it. I’ve never had a problem knowing why and what I’m working for, but I have had a problem learning how and when to turn it off. I can be wildly successful and give my family everything they’ve ever desired, but never be available physically and emotionally and ultimately give them nothing. Be there for the small things. Be there for the big things. Be there wholeheartedly. Give your son and your wife your time. It’s the most valuable thing you have, and the one thing that once it’s gone…it’s gone. Be intentional in everything. Also, congrats to you and your wife! I’m super excited for you guys. I’ll be praying for a safe and happy delivery for your baby and momma!

My son will be born sometime in the next 3-weeks. I am watching and reading everything I can to ensure I am the best father possible across all subject matters and situations he might encounter in his life. My dad was there for me, literally saved my life at one point when I almost drowned. He's been there for relationship advice (most of it honestly not good), work ethics, and questions about cars. Any suggestions or recommendation from fathers out there are highly welcome.
