It’s wonderful to be back, Bill. I am so grateful for this journey to have the fortune of being a part of two such special professional families, now beautifully blended into one. Thank you so very much♥️

Another homecoming w/ @nflnetwork now part of ESPN... Senior national reporter @StaceyDales spent 7 years at ESPN (2002-08) as a college basketball analyst, college football sideline reporter, and more. Great to have Stacey back reporting on SportsCenter today.

The Orlando Sentinel updated their obituary over the weekend with good details/quotes about my mom's impact on the Orlando community. A good testament to her impact.

I lost my mom, Jane Healy. An elite mother, grandmother, friend and journalist. There was no one better to talk to about life, the news, college football, the Magic or the grandkids. Few, if any, ever lived life better. We love you.

You're going to get your ass knocked down in life.
That's 100 percent certain.
Life is humiliating. Shut up about it. Don't play the victim.
Get up. Dust yourself off. Drop the millstone of regret.
I don't kick myself for what happened at the White House nine years ago.
I don't give a shit. It happened. Now let's get to work.
There are a lot of babies out there right now.
Don't be one of them.

I had the pleasure of driving @AaronRaiGolf
and his wife @BishnoiGaurika, several times around Philadelphia Cricket club last year during the Truist championship, and there weren’t any golfers I met that were nicer than them.
She was looking for somewhere to practice her game that week and I recommended Whitemarsh and she went over to work on her game
I’m so happy for him winning the PGA Championship this week. Well deserved and I hope this is the first of many major championships for him!

I numbed through tennis the same way Kevin Love numbed through basketball. My friends were at the movies on Friday night and I was at the park hitting against a wall until 10 o'clock at night. And somehow nobody thought that was a problem.
That is what Kevin and I unpacked in this episode of the No Magic Pill podcast. How the thing you love most can quietly become the thing you hide behind. For Kevin it was basketball. A safe haven where no matter what was going on at home, in his head, or in his relationships, he could step between those two lines and escape. A champion, a gold medalist, and one of the most accomplished players of his generation who spent years using the game not just as a career but as a way to avoid everything he wasn't ready to face.
The passion and the crutch can be the exact same thing. That was true for me. It was true for Kevin. And I think it's true for a lot more people than we realize.
What do you reach for when you don't want to feel something?
