Our hearts are heavy as we learn of the passing of Hilliard Volunteer Firefighter Kevin Crews. First responders put their lives on the line every day without hesitation to protect and serve our communities. Kevin embodied that calling with courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication. His service to those around him will never be forgotten, and his legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the community he helped protect. Please join Abby and me in praying for his family, fellow firefighters, and all who knew and loved him during this difficult time.

Yesterday we were proud to have members in attendance for a press conference with Senator @AshleyMoodyFL and one of our own, Congressman @AaronPBean! The event took place at the National POW/MIA Memorial and Museum at Cecil Field. Senator Moody announced she was introducing the Senate companion bill to Congressman Bean’s 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝑶𝑾/𝑴𝑰𝑨 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒖𝒎 𝑨𝒄𝒕. The legislation would designate the POW/MIA Memorial and Museum as a national landmark to honor, connect, inspire, and educate the American people about members of the Armed Forces who were held as prisoners of war (POWs) and those who became missing in action (MIA) in our nation’s conflicts.
