However, if everyone starts using the same idea before releasing it, what’s the point of anyone taking any credit for it?! Please, it’s a humble request to do thorough research of who have released any track/mashup earlier and then execute it. Also, mention due credits wherever you use their tracks. Thank you.

The problem with creating a mashup of two or more songs with “no personal change in arrangement” is that anybody else can also make the same and you will never be able to claim that it’s yours & that others are just copying you. The original tracks don’t belong to you anyway.

Only if these self-proclaimed “Indian EDM stars” spent even half the energy on their music, skillset, and true open-format adaptability (you know… the things that actually sustain careers), instead of taking shots at Bollywood DJs who are clearly out there getting real work. Or hey… keep dropping banter reels. Stand-up comedy might just be the more honest career switch. 🎤🤷🏻‍♂️

People earned their tours through the music — bootlegs, edits, originals, etc. That momentum led to better/bigger gigs, bigger stages, and standout content… all built over years of real grind and dedication. Now? Copy the content playbook, mimic the marketing, catch a random celebrity moment for a reel — and suddenly there are tours, higher fees, and visibility… with barely a word about the music itself..
