Hey! My 14yo is writing a paper on formative books people read when they were about 12 years old. She wants to cast a wide net for percentage reasons, so I'm curious: What book did you read when you were 12 that really shaped you or your reading preferences for the future?

@nice_teacher I have a class like this and found that a U shape has been most effective. I have an inner U and outer U and spread out the most talkative students spread out around the outer U and fill in the rest with quieter kids and adjust as needed, works pretty well :)

Okay teachers, what’s your best seating chart for a talkative class with a lot of personality conflicts? Behavior issues are out of control. I currently have desks in groups of four or five for collaborative work, but this has got to change.
