@Quijahn @JSOC303 @BungieHelp So you don’t think running the latest dungeon solo flawless before this glitch was more of an accomplishment? Doing 5+ dps phases were more things could go south, instead of 1 phasing glitching the boss? Same goes for flawless raids, etc?

@JSOC303 @BungieHelp 100% disagree. A huge number of players are having the time of their lives right now. I would have gone flawless either way, but I love seeing new flawless blueberries! If someone accomplishes something in the game with the glitch it has 0 bearing on you. Let people have fun!

UPDATE: We're working on two fixes for this issue. There are no plans for a rollback. For the first fix, deploying within the next 24 hours, we’re building a server-side update that will disable all crafted weapons from being equipped. Players will still be able to craft weapons during this time. The second fix we’re building, which we hope to release soon after the first, will allow crafted weapons to be re-equipped but the outlier crafted weapons with “illegal” components will be reset to a default state.

We're aware of reports that some players who defeat Crota in Challenge Mode aren't unlocking the "All For One" Triumph.

@BungieHelp i just don’t get how a patch could possibly take 8+ hours to do when it would simply be easier to remove the seals, and triumphs and let people redo their catalysts or even just leave it how it is and let people redo them all it’s not that hard i just want to play the game

We’re continuing to investigate the issues causing progress to be reset for certain Triumphs, Seals, and Catalysts. Destiny 2 will remain offline as we work on a fix. Updates will be provided as they become available.

@ay_yo_coopierre @BungieHelp Actually fair call, especially if there is a roll back and the time and money spent from players is lost. Bungie still have a duty to fulfill to their customers.

Investigations and tests for today's issues are ongoing.  Destiny 2 will remain offline into the evening. We will be able to share more concrete timeline updates for bringing Destiny 2 back online as that information becomes available.

@BungieHelp Should increase character slot limit and lower vault size. That way we wouldn't need to run to the vault so much and woudln't rely on the API for 3rd party apps for stuff.

We have identified an issue with the Jade Rabbit exotic scout rifle and have temporarily disabled the weapon until a fix can be implemented.

@BungieHelp At least patch out the according triumphs for that then.. which is basically destroy all ether

We're aware of an issue where players who destroy all of the wisps in the Ether Collection encounter of the Astral Alignment activity can't progress. Players must restart this activity and not destroy all the wisps to continue. This issue will be resolved in an upcoming hotfix.

@BungieHelp So basically, when people do the triumph you’ve put in the game, the lobby gets stuck? Obviously I am talking about the one where you can’t let them harvest Ether. Same goes for me, when each guardian has a battery deposited, getting stuck forever. Just patch those out then man

Correction: the Ether Collection encounter of the Astral Alignment activity will be disabled at 10 AM PDT on August 25. Currently, when players reach this part of the activity, they must not destroy all the ether wisps in order to complete the encounter.
