@Jsabex @Fiona_Kamikazi If I recall correctly, Africa was not mentioned, suggesting US-Africa engagement will likely remain the same through selective trade deals (e.g. Kenya) & potentially expanded critical minerals partnerships, esp. given his emphasis on building a “Western supply chain”.

Can someone point me toward strong African analysis of Marco Rubio’s speech at the Munich Security Conference? I’m interested in how we’re reading it on this side of the world. Still unpacking it. 👀🤔

You fit into a shape that other people recognize, and after a while, you forget you're even in a shape at all. But here, alone, somewhere new, the shape dissolves. You could be anyone. You could be more of yourself than you've ever been. No one is watching to see if you stay consistent.
