Earlier today, I received Maryam Bukar Hassan @Alhan_islam, the first United Nations Global Advocate for Peace and Security, at my residence. We discussed her impressive work at the @UN and the pressing need to deepen policies that empower young people, inspire them to embrace peace, and contribute to security and development rather than falling prey to destructive vices. I congratulated her on her historic appointment and noted that she remains a shining light for our youth, proving that commitment, capacity and purpose can help shape a more secure, progressive and prosperous society. -AA

A young Nigerian woman, Aisha Chizaram a Muslim from the Igbo ethnic group has completed the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an in Enugu. Her achievement is a powerful reminder that Islam is a universal religion, embraced by people of every tribe and background. May Allah increase her in knowledge, make the Qur’an a light in her life, and inspire many others through her dedication. Ma sha Allah! 🤲

Every time I come across an Igbo Muslim, my respect for that person increases, because I know it’s not always easy to practice Islam in a community where everyone has been taught to hate Islam and Muslims right from young age. May Allah protect all Igbo Muslims.

Life goes on, with or without you. Be prepared for whatever comes your way. When you least expect it, it will test you & challenge you. How you respond will set the tone for the rest of your life. Don’t take things for granted. Be on guard always because Satan is waiting for you to fall.

Being positive is a mindset. It means you choose to respond in a manner that’s optimistic & constructive. You remember that the outcome could have been worse. It doesn’t mean you’re in denial; nor is life a bed of roses. Far from it. It means you’re grateful for what life offers.

You don't need to worry about Arabic text issues, you can now conduct your research about Islam. Please we need people who will sponsor the translation of the qur'an to Berom, Tarok, Afizere, Tiv, Mada, Idoma, Zaar, Anaguta, and Mwaghavul. Please help let it serve as Sadaqatul Jariya to you🤝🙏
