@tickytembo @Kickstarter Haha. Well, I got a thing, eventually, after complaining I didn’t get the thing for months. Then when it turned up it’s a brick. 😂 absolute waste of time

If you back something on @Kickstarter and when it finally arrives it’s broken, what options do you have? I’ve reached out to the creator and did everything they asked, sending videos of it not working etc, and now they’re just ignoring me 😅 #Kickstarter

@abbott567 If this is Rolling Square, then I'd be backing their latest for $1 and posting factual warnings to folks in the comments section until you get a satisfactory resolution.

A photo I took of the Red Footed Falcon that recently visited Northumberland. Alt: Small bird of prey with a speckled underside and dark wings, with a short sharp beak and black mask. It’s on a rock amongst dry grass against a clear sky, sideways on looking over its shoulder.

A terrific Tuesday to you. Birds sing a new song every day, no matter what's happening in the world. It's a reminder that there's always hope for a new beginning. "Another one of the little Red Footed Falcon that graced Northumberland recently" -CA. 📍 Northumberland

@1Copenut @nonswearyphil did you publish any of the Cypress accessibility work you were doing on GOVUK a while back? Not sure how far you got with it or whether its relevant, but I remember it being ace at the time? Would love to have a dig around.

Hey @accessibleweb, on this GOVUK Guidance it mentions both @GDSTeam and CDDO in the monitoring section. It’s not clear who is the monitoring and reporting body anymore. Has there there been a reshuffle of responsibility? Or is it a typo? gov.uk/guidance/acces…

@abbott567 On a related topic, I put together some text expansions for Keyboard Maestro, macOS and TextExpander a while back that include all the 2.2 SCs. Expands to create links in various formats in any text editor: #TextExpansions" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">a11y-tools.com/#TextExpansions

@gracesnow Sorry, yes, the new criterion is for login authentication. CAPTCHAs for other forms will still be covered under things like non-text content, keyboard, timing adjustable etc

@abbott567 From reading more about it, it seems this success criteria is all about logins. It doesn't go into general form submissions much. I'm going to read a load about this tomorrow I think! Feel I have some knowledge gaps here. Thanks for the info

@gracesnow There isn’t really a 1 size fits all solution. 2.2 will outlaw the maths type ones. You’ll still be able to use the image recognition style, but you’ll need to also allow alternatives like audio. Here’s a really good post on making CAPTCHAs accessible: boia.org/blog/how-to-ma…

@abbott567 I have questions about accessible authentication (non public sector) Our clients often request recaptcha adding to forms to prevent the volume of spam/bot/fake form fills... What's the answer for them?

@abbott567 Thanks for this. Well-written as always. Will your WCAGify package still work as expected with these new criteria?
