It all began when I was young. I was often asked, “What do you want to be in the future?” and my answer was always simple: “I want to be a lawyer.”
Today, I stand with deep gratitude as I append my signature to the Roll of Advocates, a moment witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. Mpiima.✍

At this moment, as we get the chance to vote again in 2031, it is important to reflect on the subjects Members of Parliament were taught in school. This Bill is not about politics, it is Economics and Mathematics at its core.
We are dealing with balance of payments, foreign inflows, reserves and overall financial stability of the country.
These are not abstract ideas, they are core economic principles that determine whether a nation remains stable or vulnerable.
Even a person who is not formally educated, once you explain the implications of the Sovereignty Bill, would naturally say NO to it.
Yet we are seeing such proposals being supported by people with a high level of education, individuals expected to fully understand the economic consequences of such decisions.

🚨💣🗣️ Thierry Henry on Bruno Fernandes Season:
"Listen, we have to talk about what we are seeing from Bruno Fernandes right now, because sometimes in football, we take consistency for granted. To be sitting there on 19 assists with games still to play... that is not normal. It is not easy.
People always talk about my record the 20 assists I had in that 2002/03 season. And let me tell you, I know exactly what it takes to get to that number. It’s not just about the quality of the pass; it’s about the vision to see a gap before it even exists, and then having the technical execution to deliver the ball exactly where the striker needs it. It’s about being the 'brain' of the team. And Bruno, for all the talk about his frustration or his emotions, he is the undisputed brain of that Manchester United side.
You see that assist today against Brentford? That’s what I love. It’s the weight of the pass. It’s knowing exactly when to release it. He’s on the verge of matching me, and potentially going past me, and look records are there to be broken. I’ve always said that. If you are good enough to beat a record that has stood for over twenty years, you deserve all the flowers. You have to respect the grind.
And let’s be serious for a second: if he goes ahead and does this if he breaks that 20-assist barrier in this Premier League, with the intensity of the game today for me, he has to be the PFA Player of the Year. Simple as that. You cannot have a player reach that level of creative output and not recognize him as the best in the land. He carries the responsibility, he demands the ball, and he delivers. If he hits 21, I’ll be the first one to stand up in this studio and clap, because I know the difficulty of that mountain he’s climbing."

Someone asked me: Is it useful for brilliant and articulate Ugandans – Phillip Karugaba, Sarah Bireete and others – to waste their time talking to a majority-NRM parliament over a bill where they'll only vote as instructed?
My response: They were not necessarily presenting to these legislators. Not necessarily. But to the general Ugandan public – using parliament as a national platform. Indeed, NRM legislators can do as their master wants. But our organic intellectuals have performed their duty to their compatriots.

Check out the Ugandan team behind this great innovation 🇺🇬
While the world watches Falcon 9 launch ClimCam to the ISS, let’s shine light on our own people who made it happen.
Four brilliant Ugandan engineers — Gerald Kisangala (Soroti University), Zaina Kalyankolo (Mbarara University of Science and Technology), Rosemary Nalwanga (embedded systems specialist), and Christopher Ongom Adoko (Kyambogo University) — went through intensive training in Egypt and helped design and build this AI-powered climate camera.

Liftoff of Falcon 9 to the International Space Station — and our ClimCam payload is on board! 🇺🇬🚀 Our farmers feed this nation, but floods, droughts and unpredictable weather have been punishing us for years. ClimCam is going to give us accurate, timely information straight from above — so we can plan better for agriculture, protect communities from disasters, and manage our environment smarter. This is space technology working for ordinary Ugandans, not just for show. #STIWorksUg
