most people still don’t understand what’s happening >~75% age reversal in animals in weeks (David Sinclair) >first human trials for age-reversal pathways FDA greenlight is underway >AI is compressing bio timelines by an order of magnitude the curve already bent in Q1 2026 brace for bio/acc, the acceleration will be brutal.

🚨 Futurist Ray Kurzweil predicts: by 2030, humans could be closer than ever to immortality, thanks to nanobots. Ray’s been right about ~86% of his past predictions. This could be his boldest yet.

POV: A guy with ChatGPT and Google AlphaFold just built a custom mRNA cancer vaccine to save his dog. this story is actually insane. a tech guy in australia adopted a rescue dog with aggressive cancer and only months to live. so he did something wild: > paid ~$3k to sequence the tumor dna > used chatgpt to analyze the mutations > used google’s alphafold to model the proteins > identified drug targets and designed a custom mRNA cancer vaccine he had zero background in biology. after months of paperwork, the vaccine was approved and injected. within weeks the tumor shrank dramatically and the dog started recovering. meanwhile pharma companies are running $1B trials to do the exact same thing. the future of personalized medicine with AI is going to be insane.
vittorio@IterIntellectus

this is actually insane > be tech guy in australia > adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live > not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4 > pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA > feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold > zero background in biology > identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets > design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch > genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own > need ethics approval to administer it > red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine > 3 months, finally approved > drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection > tumor halves > coat gets glossy again > dog is alive and happy > professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?” one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline. we are going to cure so many diseases. I dont think people realize how good things are going to get

@PathOfMen_ They do experience it but the biggest difference is modern medicine didn’t extend their lifespans. You can also live 20-40 years without brushing and be completely fine. They also don’t consume as much sugar.

I was just rewatching the Matrix series and saw a post that we can run computations on human brains grown in a vat, which are way more efficient than GPUs. But we need to somehow keep the brains alive and the best way to do that is in a human body ... wait a minute

If a clump of cells is “life” when does it start becoming alive and when does it stop becoming “alive”? At what cell # does it become a “clump of cells”? And at what point should you care? No one was denying that a cell is “alive”. Prokaryotes are all around us and they are definitely more resilient and alive than a single neuron (single neurons or most other eukaryotic cells just don’t exist in nature). If we are going to call single cell “life” and “conscious” and “sentient” then we’d have to live our lives accepting that we commit microbial genocide everyday

Science is hard. You have to prove it, test it, and reproduce the results. Pseudoscience is easy. Make it up. Add fear. Watch it spread.

@expatsunleashed @arianajasmine__ Syria is literally the first city ever built im not sure what you are talking about. Its almost like you chose to double down on the racist and divisive talk. She also summarized it very well, to the average American, you are just like the Arabs.

I blame your age for your stupidity. Iran isn’t Libiya, Syria, or Iraq not because of its racial make up but because of its history and people and collective wisdom and brains. The countries you mentioned put together aren’t 200 years old, Iran is the oldest country in the world. We had a constitutional revolution 120 years ago, we have some of the brightest minds (maybe it will include you one day too but not yet). Iran has also been secularized thanks to the Mullahs, so I’d say Iran is ready to be a secular democracy more so than any other country in that region by a long shot. So instead of regurgitating Anti imperialist leftist talking point, pay attention to the details and nuances.
