Very sad news that Victor Connerty has died. He taught Roman History at UCD and his lectures were legendary. Students would pile into the biggest lecture theatre to hear him talk about the Gracchi. He was a fabulous speaker and will be deeply missed. rip.ie/death-notice/v…
