Applications are now open for Nursery admissions September 2025. Applications must be completed by 21st February. We are very much looking forward to meeting our new pupils.

We wished the wonderful, kind, caring, fun-loving @mrshallmoore a fond farewell as she begins her retirement. Mrs Hall-Moore has served the community of Aberbargoed for nearly 30 years. Her dedication to the community of Aberbargoed has been outstanding. Thank you for everything.

Our wonderfully talented, unique and fabulous Reception and Nursery pupils performed beautifully today in their Christmas concerts. We are very proud of you. We hope you have a great night of sleep after your hard work today. Thank you families and staff for your support! ⭐️🎄🎵

We had a real treat today. Pupils from year five and six went to sing for residents of Hillview Care Home. The residents joined us in singing and dancing to some of our favourite Christmas songs. We can’t wait to go back and visit in the new year. 🎵 🎄 #PowerOfSong #Community

What a superb day today! 110 pupils attended the @BlackwoodMiners Pantomime and enjoyed every second. They were a credit to our school. Diolch to our parent helpers for joining us. We danced, sang and laughed at the brilliant performance and were inspired for concerts next week!

We love to support our community. Today this wonderful group of young people performed for the @AberbargoedCAT Christmas event. They brought joy, laughter and Christmas spirit through music. Well done ACAT for a wonderful event for our community to enjoy.

If you have lids for these tubs 👇🏼 over the next few weeks, please save them from landfill and send them into school. They will be used for a community project next year. We only need purple and red tub lids please. ♻️
