@Midhuamsaud What I have seen in the media is that these youngsters had just returned home from a trip when the catastrophic event occurred. They had also recently completed military training, which may have helped them remain physically fit and handle the situation calmly.

Something that deserves media attention. Yesterday morning, I met members of the team involved in the launch accident that occurred the previous day while transporting around 60 girls to Malee Thankfully, the incident did not result in any major injuries, with only one person needing evaluation at the hospital. But from what I was told, the situation could easily have turned into a major tragedy. It was a stormy evening with strong winds and rough waves. The launch was sinking, and under such circumstances, panic alone could have made the situation catastrophic. What stood out to everyone involved was the girls onboard. Despite the fear and danger, none of them panicked or acted recklessly in a way that could have jeopardized everyone else. Instead, they remained remarkably calm, listened carefully to instructions, and evacuated the sinking vessel in an orderly manner. The crew said that if panic had broken out among 60 passengers, the situation could have become impossible to control. Many lives may have been put at risk simply from chaos and fear. A far worse outcome was avoided because these girls stayed calm, cooperative, and handled an extremely frightening situation with impressive composure and maturity. N1 Sports Park in Hulhumalé Phase 1 opened last night. A huge request from the community has finally been fulfilled. Neighbourhood 1 is where the first people came to live in Hulhumalé, and for a long time this area was left without proper renovation or sports facilities. Now, for the first time, a good sports space has been built here with a futsal ground, volleyball court, and half basketball court. #WithHDC #MageyHulhumale
