@KellyCrandall And chastising the fans by the media is the biggest mistake this sport and its leadership ever made. Telling generational fans, 30 year plus fans or more that they are wrong is not a winning strategy for keeping them or the sport healthy.

All. Of. This. The reason I stopped listening to one of the podcasts in this sport is that they said the media should ask more positive questions and write more positive stories. GTFO with that nonsense.
Bozi Tatarevic@BoziTatarevic

It is not the responsibility of the media to act as a pr or marketing department for drivers. That's something they need to undertake on their own and if they have compelling stories to share then media members will cover them.

@KellyCrandall It wont all be roses, when they do good U should give the credit. So many now especially on the radio side have drank the Koolaid to the point where they are not open to change, wont admit being wrong. If I could just stream the race on the radio without XM it would be gone.

@KellyCrandall Thats the exact reason I stopped listening to a lot of the Radio shows. Too afraid to call a spade a spade by certain members. The podcasts same, there are several who pull their punches. So I stopped listening or they just beat around the bush. I want the honest genuine info

@FreddieKraft Cheered for him last season when he drove like the wheelman he is capable of clinching the Brickyard for the record. So this is very disappointing.

I am sure @FreddieKraft will defend, deflect, beat around the bush about Bubbas driving today. At the end of the day that was typical Bubba. He has a temper. He is notorious for losing his composure and doing dumb things. Killing their points position. See Chigaco, Indy, Vegas.

@FreddieKraft Vegas: Loses his cool, right hooks Larson. Suspension Chicago: Loses his cool, walls the race winner Indy: Loses his cool goes after a driver on the ground undergoing treatment for heat trauma. Martinsville: Drives through the 77 and ends his own day and tons of other damaged

I don’t know who is to blame but we don’t have enough practice time today @MartinsvilleSwy. Guys that haven’t been here before in a Cup car need and deserve more than 30 ish mins. I’ll die on that hill.

According to John Probst Goodyear wanted the tire to be that wide because they wanted to same volume of air in them as they had in the 15” wheel setup. You and I don’t understand why that makes sense but if they answered the question I bet it would make sense.
Tony ⛵🏁@ToneDawg9

@markmartin I watched your take on lower downforce. First off - agree with your take, I've been saying this for 10 years. However this car has more problems than just the downforce. A huge detriment is the fat tires. These provide way too much grip. Back in the day if you (1/2)

@SpotterBrett @gregkellyusa If people learned to mind their own damn business things would be a lot nicer in humanity We share a common humanity, we don’t have to share all the same view points and standards. You live in your bubble and I will stay in mine

@SpotterBrett @gregkellyusa This is like sexual preference, how is it impacting you what someone else does? They aren’t making you participate in it or get a Tattoo in this case. So how is it hurting you? Show me on the doll where the tattoo hurt you?

@SMMHansen Yeah public transit is limited based on location for a lot of people. Our rural life the last 8 years doesnt leave you too many options for getting around, not even car pooling.

I live in a state that is not known for quality public transportation, but I have become close personal friends with Amtrak in the last couple of months. It cost me less to buy a business class ticket than a tank of gas to go visit my sister/her family or my cousin/her family. Plus I get a coupon for train snacks!

@realtalkstruth If the Dems and voters dont like it. Call your reps and congressmen. They opened the damn door by not funding things because they want to play games. Only they can close it by funding DHS. I am not advocating for them to be there but whose fault is it that it can even happen?

🚨 ICE agents at Atlanta airport today Some say it’s needed to control the chaos. Others say it’s a dangerous precedent. Which side are you on?

@SteelHorseLive I think its indicative of the negative shift to the chaos fans becoming the norm. As a result of the gimmicks introduced over 2 decades. Those groups dont know what to do with real racing. Other than complain, because they never needed to learn about comers & goes, strategy

The fact that we're only in the 70s for "yes" right now tells you the fanbase will never know what they want. If you long for when NASCAR was at its peak, you long for races like Darlington yesterday. End of story.

@BenKennedy33 @TooToughToTame This is great, probably hasnt happened enough. Too improve the fan experience you must live it and too many companies get disconnected from their fans experience from a product no the product. In turn they lose the fans perspective. If the people come the money follows

@MattWeaverRA Because this was real racing, which is wait for it.... what the sport was built on. Abandoning it is also what cost the sport a vast majority of its fan base. If you dont think so go look at the ratings and attendance for anything early into the chase and beyond. Gimmick decades

This is just the eye test but I've seen every lap of NextGen racing at Darlington and there's just a noticeable positive difference from a trailing car behind a leading car The trailing car follows easier and can set up his next corner as a result.

@MattWeaverRA The people who didnt enjoy today are not real racing fans. A real racing fan enjoys the technical aspects of it, the strategies constantly going, saving equipment. If you want non stop chaos watch your 6 free BS races a year we call plates and take a hike the rest of the season
