Having just become the world’s 5th largest economy, India is now in a crucial phase in which it will soon become the 3rd largest. Then, 2 of the world’s 3 largest will be developing countries and 3 out of 4 largest in Asia.

With 14 medals including 7 Golds (of which 5 were won by women athletes) and a Gold in Greco Roman after 32 years, India's performance at the Cadet (U-17) World Wrestling Championship has been the best ever. India has also topped the medals tally. Congrats to our contingent.

Took Air India from New York to Delhi. What a change—extremely friendly and courteous cabin staff. The flight even arrived an hour early. They do need newer aircraft but understandably that will take time. A big privatization success story in the making.



With a heavy heart, IRTSOA mourns tragic demise of Sri Yadavendra Singh Bhati, IRTS'18 who met an accident while on duty organising work at Amlai station in Madhya Pradesh. IRTS fraternity expresses deepest condolences to his wife and family in this time of grief. ॐ शांति ।

Those days, we thought of the neighbor’s phone and car as public goods. So it was perfectly legitimate to give the neighbor’s phone number to friends and to ask the neighbor to lend their car in case of emergency!
