Please read; the most important piece I've written. Mass poisoning has suddenly killed off most sea life for 30 miles by the Tees. The govt claims it's natural; ind scientists warn it's manmade. The govt is desperate not to inquire too deeply as its freeport policy is at stake.

My 8yo daughter met a girl at summer camp last year named "Internet." I said no way, that can't be her name but my daughter has been adamant. For almost a year we've been having this discussion.

Chris Whitty sounding much more cautious than PM, talking of a "gradual, steady change" over coming weeks, warning of new variants which "could cause significant problems", and saying that next winter will be "tricky". Clear message that we're not out of the woods.

Whatever you do, don’t trivialise their ordeal. Saying things like ‘be positive’ or ‘just get a bit of sunshine’ or ‘others have it so much worse’ etc can cause more isolation, stigmatisation & feeling of guilt. If they say it’s hard, IT IS hard and they’re trusting u with it.

If your friend, relative, colleague, patient or child say they’re not recovered after covid believe them & help them navigate their problems. Hope doesn’t only come from medical treatments. It comes from the love, support & understanding those around u.

The “Omicron is mild” narrative is dangerous. I had my booster in November but even so, it hurts to breathe, my legs are so weak I can barely get up the stairs, my GP has put me on beta blockers to stop my heart racing. Unvaccinated, I would be seriously ill. #Omicron
