Last evening, some of our academic staff (@abjdillon and @MiriamJane5) were present for the opening of an exciting new @CBL_Dublin exhibition, *Manuscripts & the Mind* led by curator @jillunkel, and project PIs, Garrick Allen, Kelsie Rodenbiker, and Christoph Scheepers.

This excellent free exhibition Words on the Wave @NMIreland is extended until Mon 27 Oct! Truly beautiful manuscripts from the Abbey of St Gall, Switzerland - home to early Irish monks. Some of these are in Ireland for the first time in 1000 yrs alongside other fab artefacts. Go!

The day featured some papers with close textual readings of Hebrew Bible texts featuring the mobility of gods and people by @AU_Theology's Elisa Uusimäki, a reading of Hagar as foreigner by @TP_DCU PhD student Abigail Sines, to patristic authors on scripture as home by myself.

It was a joy to connect with Prof. Núria Calduch Benages, Secretary of the Pontifical Biblical Commission and great scholar of the OT, in Ireland this w/end. She shared with us a wonderful overview of the work of the PBC & PBI.📖#Bible ⁦@IrlEmbHolySee⁩ ⁦@VaticanNews⁩
