@DennisMJordan @robertfsiegmund @holysmoke Many Roman emperors thought that they defeated the church. Communism seemed to defeat it, Nazis sent many priests and monks to camps too. And even when the church left its real teaching (Arian heresy, or modern crisis) it still stands in faithful even in the few.

@Maclaine1776 @SalveReginaaaa Yeah but it is a good change. Most of litrugical and doctrinal development happened beacuse of counteraction against the multiple heresies. If we ask ourselves why all those changes shown of the picture happened, we can that they dont counter any actual heresies - which is sus

@SalveReginaaaa You do realize that altar rails are a late innovation during the counter Reformation? One of the liturgical reforms of Trent dictated that the laity be able to see the concentration, so they took down rood screens. Early Christians stood to receive communion, in their hand.

U tradsów stabilnie. Masońskie Porozumienie Centrum w porozumieniu z Józefem Piłsudskim i św. Faustyną Kowalską reprezentując interesy nieistniejącego od 2000 lat żydowskiego Sanhedrynu zwołali walne zebranie użytkowników Gmaila w klasztorze w Laskach, żeby zakazić Kościół i Polskę modernistycznymi ideami. Lefebryzm to choroba psychiczna.

Lata 60-te i (Czecho)Słowacja. No cóż, czasem i tak bywa.

The literal #1 most suicidal belief you can have is that you’re an introvert/socially anxious/don’t like people. I was this guy until around 22. Thought I was better than everyone else and actively chose not to be social. Life completely changed when I started interacting with random people and just trying to make them laugh. Opportunities opened up, made relationships with people I never thought possible. Everything was just less dull and boring. Every day was fun for no reason. You cannot be a lone wolf. It’s a mental illness. Life is meaningless without people.
Goldie@dezgoldie

I believe in socializing basically 24/7. This has made me more money than anything else. High energy levels and constant social interaction.

@LumenExTenebris That's such a reasonable take man. I agree hundred percent. Even though I'm a SSPX associated traditionalist I support Pope Leo in this matter. I should pray for him more often. Oh Lord bless him and grant him clarity of the mind

The past couple days I have seen some of the most ignorant takes regarding Pope Leo XIV and the whole situation with the war in Iran. People calling themselves Catholic are coming out of the woodwork without even knowing what they are talking about. From what I can gather, they roughly fall into one of three categories: 1) "I didn't vote for the Pope, but I did vote for Trump and I'm an American first, and therefore stand with Trump". I shouldn't even need to explain why this is an absolutely ridiculous stance for someone calling themselves a Catholic to take. Faith comes first. By saying that you put the country or a politician over Christ's Church, you are essentially admitting to worshipping false idols. These folks seem to wear their Catholicism as a costume only as long as it's comfortable and suits their personal preferences. 2) "The Pope is wrong here. Hasn't he ever heard of Just War?" This is interesting because it shows that they at least pay lip service to Catholic teaching on the matter, but it's clear that they don't know what actually constitutes a Just War. For a war to be considered Just under Catholic teaching, it must be measured against the following criteria: 1. Is it self defense against clear and immediate aggression? 2. Is it being carried out by legitimate authority? 3. Is it being fought for the right intentions - i.e. peace and protection or regime change and dominance? 4. Is there a realistic and defined probability of success? 5. It is the last resort? 6. Are the actions taken proportional? By my view only number 2 can be answered with a "yes". Arguably, one or two others could possibly be answered positively also, but definitely not all of them - and if they can't all be answered positively then it is NOT a Just War. 3) "Catholics are obligated to follow and agree with whatever the Pope says". The first two shows the ignorance from those trashing the Pope. This one however comes from the other side. These are people who are defending the Pope, but are so wrong in their reasoning that it harms everyone on the same side because it makes us look woefully ignorant of what the Church teaches. These are the people who seem to have heard the term "Papal infallibility" and think that it applies to everything the Pope says and does. This is, in my opinion, the most maddening of the the 3 groups. I know that it's no surprise to see all sorts of ridiculous and ignorant takes on this platform - especially when a topic is trending. I guess I just can't wait for the next big topic to grab everyone's attention, because it's been embarrassing seeing the statements and arguments a large segment of people who call themselves Catholic have been making lately.

@FeelsGuy2003 How about arian crisis? There already were certain times when the church went into the bad directions. And Catholics at least have a right, if not duty to disobey those errors. That's why I support SSPX, even if sometimes I get annoyed by other faithful or priests, I'm grateful

So what does this imply? That according to the Society: Rome no longer holds the Faith. This directly contradicts the indefectibility of the Church that our Lord promised us in Matthew 16:18. You can’t in good conscience believe such a distortion and remain Catholic.

SSPX Superior General Don Davide Pagliarani said members of the SSPX would “rather die than renounce” their Catholic faith, as planned episcopal consecrations are set to move forward without a papal mandate. Follow: @AFpost
