One of my pet peeves (and I have way too many I freely admit 😳) is when I hear “the decision was made to…” do x, y, or z, rather than “we decided to…”. Pedantic perhaps but the point of owning our own decisions seems to sorta matter.

My peeve is people who insist on constantly saying “and then we TOOK-THE-PATIENT-TO-THE-OPERATING-ROOM”. They seem to like saying it as much as possible. I guess because they think it sounds cool. Drives me nuts.
