the kanye effect: the cultural phenomenon in which the most publicly visible aspects of a genius ( the arrogance, the chaos, the unfiltered declarations ) get harvested and replicated by people who skipped everything that made those qualities earned.

Been deep in video generation the past few months. Really cool tech and models, but lot of noise. One off clips still aren’t story. Story needs intention, continuity and most importantly restraint.

I’m obsessed with people who are obsessed. This is what true product obsession sounds like:
