Personal, painful note, unrelated to crypto and art. After the worst two weeks of my life, being personally labeled as corrupt and evil, and observing the baseless absurdities being elevated on this platform that are designed to fray our social fabric, I can no longer continue supporting x. I can’t prioritize art, @_kaitoai yaps, followers, or @fantasy_top_ over my country and my family’s safety. I’m ending all of my x subscriptions, although the blue check mark will remain until Nov when the annual payment ends. I will keep this account, but this will be my last post. I can be found on the blue and the purple, under the same handle. I am ashamed that it took such dramatic circumstances for me to make this decision. If you pay for subscriptions to any apps or platforms, I encourage you to regularly assess whether they align with your values and priorities.

Following the lead of others who seem to know better how to run the SocialFi game (710/Wals/DAT/etc) - I've turned off the monthly subscription token burn on TribeRun. Also will likely chop the chat size down to 24 like they have (but have not done so yet). Would prefer to put it at like 50, but that's not an option at the present...perhaps something for @billzh to consider. No recurring costs, and likely smaller setting soon.

There’s legit people out there saying the bull hasn’t even started yet. While stocks are at all-time high, BTC is above 100k and we had months of PVE season pumping memes and AI with ample time to take profit.

Makes more sense for FT to do all of this… they already have the platform, have already learned from the community, and would benefit from the expansion to new market segments. They just need to partner with top influencers in those other sectors to identify the heroes and the communities.

I could see this going two directions… 1) same heroes but more, all competing against each other. (This is what we’ve had so far.) 2) building out alternative leagues, each with their own heroes, different from the current heroes. So, right now all heroes are crypto oriented (i.e., the crypto heroes). But what if 180 new heroes were created, all of them focusing on something totally different? (They wouldn’t be in the same tournaments as the crypto heroes). For example… - Art NFTs (artists, collectors, maybe even platforms… this isn’t too distant from the current space, allowing for some cross-over) - the masters of meme (some cross-over, but less) - cooking creatives (basically zero cross-over) - … once you get here, the opportunities to create new leagues are almost endless. What I like about this second option is that it would give entirely new audiences a reason to start playing. And by starting fresh, there wouldn’t be long-term whales in the game (which likely makes it feel more intimidating to new players). There are so many opportunities to expand in this world, and there are real benefits for other communities to participate with x paying content creators.

Thanks for reviewing… i think tribe got off to a bad start with big names creating accounts, buyers speculating, and then the big accounts disappearing. When the community starts ignoring all of those and focusing on the tribe leaders that are bringing value to their tribe, I think it’ll start to have a clear niche. It’s essentially the alpha room for a tribe leader to share their calls, with an ever fluctuating price to participate (which is great for those tribe leaders who bring value to their tribe).

If you're sitting in a tribe and wondering why the price is going down, it's because you're in the wrong tribe. You likely made the same mistake that I did and speculated on the big names; oops. The utility of @tribedotrun is that it creates a platform for tribe leaders to build a small community that brings value, both through its members and its tribe leader. The alpha is simple: scan through the charts to see which tokens are going up. If they're going up, people are buying because they are extracting value from the tribe. If they're going down, you are stuck in a tribe led by a big name that is spending their time elsewhere (and thus bringing little value to the tribe). Want to know which ones are going up?
