Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has hired Von Batten-Montague-York, L.C., a Washington-based lobbying firm, to protect and strengthen his “reputational standing” in the United States.
The contract agreement was signed by Karl Von Batten, the managing partner at the firm, and Fabiyi Oladimeji, a Nigerian politician, on March 9 and 10, 2026, respectively.

Presidential candidate in 2027 also elected president in the same 2027 by God's grace.
We will choose the VP slot later.

@krizsnix @Hatitude3 @PeterObi We are not senseless as obidient, we know politics, and are starting the facts, even PO knows he can't get the ticket, the only option for him is vp or leave the party. Atiku is ADC.
English

@Hatitude3 @PeterObi If you all noticed that this atiku guys have all been silent all this while until the move by PO and kwankwaso they are fully pushing the atiku ticket lol una never see anything
English

The supporters of Peter Obi @PeterObi is the most senseless group at the ADC.
We are glad that other sensible bases are joining the ADC and let me sound a warning, when the ticket is eventually revealed, you bastards will do nathing!
Such a useless set of morons 😏
English

Since joining the ADC, have you seen any tweet from Yesufu suggesting a hardened support for Obi's presidency like she used to do? Well, she is a politician now and she has to play politics of interest. The nonsense talk of "saving the masses" has been left for mama piece and Akah. She will join them again when all interests are demolished in 2027.

1. The ticket is Atiku/Obi.
2. The battle ground is the North.
3. Kwankwaso is about 2031....the APC won't promise him ticket and so he has decided to support the ADC now so they can support him later.
4. It is 2019 on a repeat. Heavier will be the defeat this time.
If you like, knack head for ground. Na wetin go happen I don tell una.

There’s something Nationalistic about Atiku that is exclusive to him alone. A true Pan-Nigerian and a patriot to the core.
Atiku Abubakar@atiku
This afternoon, I received the Enugu Polling Booths Vanguard for Atiku, a group chiefly concerned with the sanctity of the ballots, led by Chief Obodoeze Ocho. They believe that every vote must count in 2027. I fully agree with them that protecting votes at the Polling Units level is vital for the coming elections. I told them that, for us to have credible elections that earn voters' trust, citizens must take the responsibility of safeguarding votes seriously. Votes will count if they are protected by those who cast them. -AA

@MyksonDosSantos @emmaikumeh Exactly, Atiku is the only candidate that can face Tinubu.
English

Atiku has said it several times that he will restructure Nigeria and allow states to control their resources. Also, in 2023 he said he wants a lean government.
Atiku has written a book about restructuring in 2004 and he supported the 2014 CONFAB report. He has spoken about decentralization of the transmission of power, decentralization of the police etc.
There are over 50 videos of Atiku and analysts that believes he can do it. I have these videos.
When Atiku was addressing the main issues Nigerians were carried away with Tinubu’s tantrums that he's throwing at his opponents without addressing issues. Funny enough, it's those tantrums that go viral because he doesn't say how he will fix the problem. This is why when you ask APC members about what Yinubu will do, they don't know. In the case of Atiku, he has addressed issues but he doesn't go viral and this is why lots of Gen Zs feel he is not competent. The youths don't read manifestos and question what's in the manifesto but are carried away with gbasgbos.
Some of the videos I shared about Atiku on social media, people didn't know that he had such ideas… I rest my case

Beyond the razzmatazz of what we see on the timeline. You know it is good to keep the politics and the political conversation going but we need to discuss some hard truths. As we approach 2027, I have seen a lot of people say that if this particular candidate becomes President, Nigeria’s problem will be solved, let's not deceive ourselves, let me tell you the truth, I have observed a pattern of Nigerians always complaining about leadership and would mostly prefer the ones who have left power. The past is usually their best. And for us to try to avoid this in the future, these candidates must tell us the road plan for the structural changes they intend to make when they become President. I am saying this because with the structure we operate today in Nigeria, even if you bring a saint to become President, the supposed saint will fail thereby making them look incompetent.
This is all the more reason I advocate for structural changes. Look at the country today, we have serious issues with out-of-school kids all over the place. The Federal Government cannot do the work of the States and LGAs because they are closer to the people and that's their primary duty. It does not even fall under the purview of the Federal Government, they only try to support through UBEC. We must have a way of dealing with this issue because if we don't, we will continue to have this large scale insecurity. There is no magic wand any president would do if we do not solve this fundamental issue.
We have serious issues where the Governors fail to take up the responsibility of Governance. How do we checkmate the Governors in a bid to have them do their work? What do we do to make the presidency more effective in solving the problem of insecurity, out-of-school children, healthcare delivery, corruption, etc? These are serious structural issues. We must find a way as a people, especially our leaders, beyond political leaning, to entrench a Nigerian vision that serves the people. We must find a way of having this conversation.
Now, everybody is shouting “remove this President”, I am not against his though before people start to misconstrue me. This Government is too extravagant, lacks basic human decency, large scale corruption, etc. As a people, we must find a way to come together to sort this. Let me tell you, in 2031 we will still come back here talking about the same issues over and over again. I do not want to believe that all the Presidents we've had, have not meant well for the country. I have been thinking about this that if we must make progress as a people, we do need to restructure this Country.
You cannot restructure this Country without the Governors and the legislatures. And not just these two groups alone, the people must be actively involved, whether you're in opposition or in power. We must all come together to have a conversation. I am not one to deceive myself. This was how they told us that PDP was the problem with everything; today, we have seen that the APC is much worse. We must sit down and ask ourselves these fundamental questions, what's our collective vision for this Country, in the next 10, 20, 30, and 40 years? Our population is projected to double, yet the landmass will not increase. Beyond this political razzmataz, what's our collective vision? I hope I have made sense!
