Truthfully, the Invincible show made too many weapons and beings able to HURT Viltrumites. It kind of makes the concept of them being unstoppable highly unlikely. Maybe it's just the Flaxans, but there's way too much tech and science that can do it relatively quickly.

The Flaxans perplex me because they’re just a conventionally armed military, it feels like the GDA could handle them with their own soldiers rather than depend on the guardians, or you know they could deploy both. A mechanized battalion with tanks and IFVs plus embarked infantry would probably have helped and allowed the guardians to find the time field device thing
