Just reported that the United States has done far more “testing” than any other nation, by far! In fact, over an eight day span, the United States now does more testing than what South Korea (which has been a very successful tester) does over an eight week span. Great job!

@fopeo For me it comes down to use case. Mercator projection is fine for some things (nav/directions), bad for other things (areas/sizing). @mapsOverlord probably knows even more. Pick the right projection for the problem, I'd say.

@acbeers Aside from being a web standard, should mapping services continue to use the Mercator projection? Is that ethical given its propensity for misuse?
