I am still proud that for the last 40 years I have always worked in firms that offer legal aid and our firm continues to offer Family and Criminal legal aid. Our staff can see clients at any of our offices & can assist clients that do not pass the labyrinthine tests for legal aid

I thought legal aid availability was bad but shocked that the number of civil legal aid firms has reduced by 40% in 10 years. There are various investigations taking place: lawgazette.co.uk/commentary-and… But will it make any difference?

My son worked really really hard to get into University and plans to study geography. People keep telling him getting a degree especially in that subject is a waste of time. Please stop.

All our staff will be employed by the new firm and trust we can continue to assist you as we have for the last 15 years.    We hope to get a group photo of the new combined firm.  In the meantime here is an Easter picture to celebrate the forthcoming holidays.

Both firms feel that there is a great deal of synergy in the way that the two firms operate and that, by coming together, the clients of both firms can be better served.   The Firm’s Shirley branch will be called Footner & Ewing LLP trading as Access Law Solicitors.

Access Law LLP are delighted to announce that from 6th April 2021 they will be merging with Footner & Ewing LLP, who already have offices in Romsey, central Southampton, Totton and Wickham.

Why do we have a picture of a crystal? Well 15 years ago this week Wendy, Derek and Ginnie started working together at Access Law at Cannon Street, Shirley and that is the gift for a 15 year wedding anniversary. We thought it was a nice picture to put up to celebrate.

We only see clients by pre-booked appointments or to receive documents. We will ask you to sanitise and wear masks and may take your temperature to keep us all safe. Whether we are at home or email we have the systems to take phone calls and receive and send emails.

Today is the first day of Autumn and six months since lockdown and it looks like a form of lockdown is coming back. We at Access Law are all back in the office most days but the majority are in separate offices and socially distancing.
