Adultery is not a crime by law. Read carefully and leave your emotions home. In many jurisdictions adultery is not a crime by law, meaning your partner will not be criminalised by reason of cheating. Cheating could be a grounds for dissolution of your union but not an offence be law. If this soldier abuses his partner or the man she cheated with then he has committed an offence by law.
