This is where most driver coaches and performance engineers don’t see eye to eye with Windsor - and I’m inclined to agree. Racing cars in general - not limited to F1 - should never be so stiffly sprung that there is almost zero weight transfer whilst cornering. What Windsor is describing as “neutralising” is simply a return to sophisticated weight transfer - which should favour any racing driver born on Earth.

So, let me get this straight. Ferrari saw Lewis Hamilton struggling with his current race engineer because the two didn't gel well and things weren't working. To solve this, -they got rid of the OG race engineer -Will give Lewis a temporary race engineer for few races -Have hired a new guy from McLaren who will join an environment like Ferrari mid-season and be Lewis Hamilton's race engineer How have they managed to make this situation worse?
