My dad's birthday today.
He was jailed 17 years at Gweru Wawa Prison fighting for the liberation of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 from White Supremacy.
He spent 6 years in the bush of Mozambique 🇲🇿 with the likes of President Mugabe and President Jacob Zuma and President Samora Machelle.

Iran is the head of the snake for global terrorism, and through President Trump’s Operation Epic Fury, we are winning this critical fight at an even faster pace than anticipated. In response to Iran’s terrorist attacks against global energy infrastructure, the Trump Administration will continue to deploy America’s economic and military might to maximize the flow of energy to the world, strengthen global supply, and seek to ensure market stability. Today, the Department of the Treasury is issuing a narrowly tailored, short-term authorization permitting the sale of Iranian oil currently stranded at sea. At present, sanctioned Iranian oil is being hoarded by China on the cheap. By temporarily unlocking this existing supply for the world, the United States will quickly bring approximately 140 million barrels of oil to global markets, expanding the amount of worldwide energy and helping to relieve the temporary pressures on supply caused by Iran. In essence, we will be using the Iranian barrels against Tehran to keep the price down as we continue Operation Epic Fury. This temporary, short-term authorization is strictly limited to oil that is already in transit and does not allow new purchases or production. Further, Iran will have difficulty accessing any revenue generated and the United States will continue to maintain maximum pressure on Iran and its ability to access the international financial system. So far, the Trump Administration has been working to bring around 440 million additional barrels of oil to the global market, undercutting Iran’s ability to leverage its disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump’s pro-energy agenda has driven U.S. oil and gas production to record levels, strengthening energy security and lowering fuel costs. Any short-term disruption now will ultimately translate into longer-term economic gains for Americans – because there is no prosperity without security.

Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez has openly confronted Trump after the latter announced yesterday that he would sever trade relations with Spain.
In his speech, he criticized Trump for his decision to start a war, emphasizing that his country does not support it and, above all, adheres to the principles of international law. He also pointed out that 23 years ago, there was already a major war in the Middle East in Iraq, which had devastating consequences, including increased migration and a rise in international Islamic terrorism.
"Spain opposes this catastrophe. Because we understand that governments are there to improve people's lives, to solve problems, not to worsen them. And it is absolutely unacceptable that leaders who are incapable of fulfilling this task use the smokescreen of war to mask their incompetence and line the pockets of a select few."
Sánchez concluded his speech by declaring that his country would not be complicit in anything that contradicts its values simply because of "fear of reprisals from some individuals," and that he had confidence in "Spain's economic, institutional, and moral strength."

This time, Trump didn’t just “intervene in a coup,”
he tore off the last fig leaf of the international system.
Because he sent a naked signal to the world:
If I say you’re a criminal, you’re a criminal.
If I want to arrest your president, I’ll send special forces to kidnap him across borders.
What does this mean?
It means that: except for a few nuclear-armed powers, every other country has just become an inferior nation, vulnerable to purging at any time.
Today it’s Maduro.
Tomorrow it could be an African head of state.
The day after, a left-wing president in Latin America.
Rules no longer exist.
Only force does.
And history has shown us:
• The U.S. doesn’t dare attack North Korea
• It won’t start a full-scale war against Iran
• It won’t touch Russia
• It wouldn’t even approach Cuba
Because their leaders hold one thing in common:
a final insurance policy: nuclear weapons, or an equivalent threat of retaliation.
But Venezuela had none.
No nukes, no satellite shield, no leverage.
Just a president kidnapped, and a nation that couldn’t stop it.
So no, Trump didn’t open Pandora’s box.
He forced the Global South to draw a brutal conclusion:
Without nuclear deterrence, there is no sovereignty.
And that’s where the danger truly begins.
Because when a world order tells weaker nations,
“You don’t have the right to exist,”
the only rational response becomes:
Develop irreversible weapons.
What comes next?
• Regional arms races
• Nuclear proliferation
• Accelerated de-dollarization
• A global strategic shift away from U.S. dominance
The Pandora’s Box is open.
Washington didn’t just kidnap a man,
It kidnapped the last illusion of a rules-based world.

A fast-moving situation. Whatever you think about Trump’s military assault on Venezuela or the true motives behind it, what is very clear is that Maduro has zero democratic legitimacy and is an oppressor of the Venezuelan people, and needs to go. I really hope this opens an opportunity for Venezuela to put the corrupt Chavista regime behind it & start rebuilding its broken institutions. That will be difficult unless Maduro’s local allies are removed from power.

🚨🇯🇵 Japan Security Official Says the Country “Needs Nuclear Weapons
A senior adviser in Japan’s Prime Minister’s office told reporters that Japan should possess nuclear weapons, arguing that Tokyo can only “rely on ourselves” given the changing security environment, even though such a move would not happen quickly or be easy to implement.
The remark comes amid discussions in Tokyo about possibly reviewing Japan’s long standing Three Non Nuclear Principles, which have prohibited the possession, production, or introduction of nuclear arms since 1967.
Any shift on this issue would mark a major break from Japan’s pacifist post war policy and is already provoking debate both domestically and internationally.
