nope. I haven't written a check in so long I don't know if I remember how 🤣 -- but seriously, the WF credit card that they had the number of I literally do not use. EVER. I have a balance transfer on it (one of their no interest for 12 mos deals) and that's IT. These scammers had info that ONLY (IMO) someone working at WF could have regarding other bank accounts of mine. And it was just like this lady said--I tried to sign on to my account when the "Fraud department" called me with them on the line and could not sign into my account. Website did not recognize my password. This guy told me to go through the process(click the 'forgot password' on the website ) to get a code to reset it(which I did)-WF(or at least it came from the exact same place that WF always sends the codes from because all the previous codes pop up & I Know they were legit from me) sent me the code, I entered it in on the website (did Not give the code to "Fraud guy"-some dumb not plumb dumb) & reset my password myself to get in. Nothing looked amiss but "Fraud guy" said they had stopped someone from sending $10K thru Zelle and a slew of other nickle & dime charges on the CC. "Fraud guy" told me that WF had put a block on my account & I needed to get to a bank office in the morning to verify I was actually me. That he would call me in the morning to set up an appointment for me with the branch. Not once did this guy ask any 'off' questions or for any account info. He asked if I had made 'X' charge(s) or transfers. One was legit, the rest were not-simple yes/no questions. Fast forward to next morning, I get a call from someone else who DID start asking retarded(IMO) questions like account NUMBERS, etc. and when I called this guy on it he started telling me this 'incident' had been sent to the FBI because of the amount of fraud(10K) and that my other (bank) account had been comprimised also. Gave me info that only someone within WF's system could have known!😳-- needless to say I went to both banks immediately but nothing had been (or has been of yet) touched and showed no indication that someone had tried🤔-- I have all my accounts set up so that I get a text when any money comes out so.....🤨. Makes you want to start collecting mason jars & digging holes in your back yard .... One of the biggest reasons you won't catch me buying any 'coins' -- my greenbacks may be worthless but at least I can touch them & they can't disappear with the touch of a button....

This couple got scammed out of Thousands of dollars due to Chase bank negligence. Somehow scammers got into Chase Bank’s access codes literally defrauding this couple’s account as she’s talking to them on the phone in real time . They had legitimate bank codes. The customer realized what was going on and ran to a chase branch near her.. That branch was no help. She went to two more and none were able to put a freeze on her account even though the fraud was happening in real time. Finally after 4 hours, they closed the account but by that time the thieves had made off with $49,000 in wired money, which the Bank told them was impossible to get back . So what good is the bank ?

Exactly!! I physically went to my WF first thing Saturday morning!! The card they got of mine - I DON'T EVER USE. EVER! So there is no way it was skimmed OR hacked online???? They were giving me info on my Other bank that is attached to my WF because I transfer money between accounts occasionally so I went to Both banks first thing Saturday morning!

@LeahRain77 The same exact scenario happened to me.They had all my personal information:name, address, phone, & account number and bank's phone number appeared in my phone caller ID. It all went down in real time. And they do it on Friday nights, assuming you won't call the bank till Monday

Not just Chase Bank..... this happened to me (other than when they tried to get info from me the following morning I refused) with Wells Fargo. Unlike Chase, my local WF was immediately on top of it. Eerily, just like with this lady, these people had info that ONLY a WF (or someone with total access to my accounts) agent could have known. Changed all login info and so far so good but.... DAMNNNN
