@CaptainBerks Yep there's no benefits yet to multicrew only detriments. We need things like engineers being able to recharge shields, make engines better, increase capacitors, give weapons more projectile velocity, etc, etc. Some of the weapon changes were interesting but I didn't get to test

Early first impression of engineering:
1) Cap ships/multi-crew will be way way harder to solo but possible in PvE
2) Multi-crew seems more fun/challenging but does not seem stronger at all
It’s better, but we need multi-crew turrets to be WAY scarier for this update to matter!
