It's time we advocate for IMMEDIATE solutions. Thousands shouldn't have to live in tents. Streets shouldn't be littered with trash. The status quo is not ok.






NEW: A homeless encampment in Venice is fueling a growing political clash at LA City Hall. Neighbors say the encampment is unsafe, citing crime and violence. Leaders are split — some pushing enforcement, others arguing it just shifts the problem.

Picture a Los Angeles where every child can walk to a safe, clean park in their neighborhood. Right now, we’re one of the most park-poor cities in the nation, but we can change that. As mayor, we’ll create a lot more spaces for families to gather, play, and thrive. 🌳

What’s devastating is that it took decades for somebody to start taking action. That’s what I did on day one - started clearing encampments to get people off the streets and making LA more affordable. I’m not slowing down because we still have more to do!
