Every women’s team will have to include at least two women as staff members on the bench — with one of them being either the head coach or assistant coach — as part of new regulations FIFA has agreed to introduce. This will be implemented at all women’s FIFA competitions, both at country and club level, effective immediately. @sa_woso86096 @Cookeezi1 @usrvokmob If / when they want to, every team can have at least a female assistant coach. But to go back to the initial take, let's not forget who was Vilda's assistant coach with Spain. Having a woman in a coaching position is a good thing, but maybe not for (only) this reason.

@sa_woso86096 @Cookeezi1 @usrvokmob Lamia Boumehdi is Moroccan, won the African WCL in 2024 and has been named as Jordan's women's team coach last week. Florence Omagbemi won the 2016 WAFCON & Uche Eucharia Ngozi won the 2010 WAFCON coaching Nigeria Zambia and South Africa have female coaches.

🚑 #NewACLInjury Emilia Szymczak (19, FC Barcelona B 🇪🇸) announced on Instagram that she sustained an ACL injury during their game against Atlético de Madrid B on the 14th of March. She's a Polish 🇵🇱 international since 2023 with 15 caps. Best wishes for her recovery.

Sharon Beck sustained an ACL injury in 2024, came back in 2025, played some games, sustained an ankle injury at the end of 2025 and did not play since. Werder announced today that she had a knee discomfort and will undergo surgery again on her ACL. New surgery but old injury.
