@josesaezmerino You literally taking it at screenshot value. If you noticed, the tabs space is collapsible when you want to enjoy the full scale of your magnificent website. When you have more than 4 tabs, you can actually read the titles and not guess what is that tab has - vertical FTW

@hszanowski What is the point of Grammarly now? Does it help you write better or it is more convenient because it's inside your textbox?

Whoa, Grammarly started suggesting fixes to text written in my native language. Are they expanding from English?

It considers any code a throwaway code. This is similar to transition from analog devices to digital. You can fix analog devices by replacing a part or tightening a screw, but for digital, you throw it away and buy a new one. Don't like solution? Throw away and generate a new one.

One of my most painful realizations using agentic systems is that they treat all work-in-progress as ephemeral. They’ll gladly reset your branch or dev database to “try something”, because they expect to write working code eventually. Never manually add code while using agents. I tried several times, and it wasn’t good. Work on your manual changes outside of the agent, always commit it prior to running the agent again. and ideally, have non-git backups: Time Machine on Mac, full db exports of your database with a proven way to restore. You can try to guard your agent from doing destructive stuff, but it’s smarter and faster than you.
ben@benhylak

claude code: > i ran /branch > instead of command running, claude saw it, and said "let me do this" > claude ran git checkout -b X > claude saw unstaged changes (everything i just made) > claude ran git reset --hard HEAD > lost all changes ???

@acm0x @SaysJr Those tiny startups weren’t owned by the richest man in the word and didn’t have the number of users this site has.

@bengold @SaysJr So back in the time when you were working in a tiny startup, did you even read customer feedback or was solely focused on getting Allegedly Most Valuable Feature out of the door?

People keep leaving xAI. Did they cash out
Jimmy Ba@jimmybajimmyba

Last day at xAI. xAI's mission is push humanity up the Kardashev tech tree. Grateful to have helped cofound at the start. And enormous thanks to @elonmusk for bringing us together on this incredible journey. So proud of what the xAI team has done and will continue to stay close as a friend of the team. Thank you all for the grind together. The people and camaraderie are the real treasures at this place. We are heading to an age of 100x productivity with the right tools. Recursive self improvement loops likely go live in the next 12mo. It’s time to recalibrate my gradient on the big picture. 2026 is gonna be insane and likely the busiest (and most consequential) year for the future of our species.

Cutting through the noise by picking just 3 things to focus on changed how I build apps and run my day. Ruthless prioritization isn't about doing less. It's about doing what actually moves the needle.

@mmartin_joo I believe this is a great use case for AI - get those 5 things as input and create "single source of truth". Everybody wins

your junior dev needs to understand a feature. senior dev says: "check the docs." junior opens: - Confluence (overview, outdated) - Notion (product spec, incomplete) - GitHub (code, no context) - Jira (ticket, closed) - Slack (thread, 400 messages) closes all tabs. asks the senior again. because reconstructing from 5 sources is harder than asking. this is how teams are losing flow at work.

@geoffreylitt Low quality sunglasses could damage your eyes. Tinted plastic protects from nothing. Better recommendation is to buy many pairs of decent UVA/B cat 3-4 sunglasses.
